CVS Health Digital is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer who will act as both Technical Lead and Individual Contributor to build our next-generation platform. The role emphasizes delivering scalable solutions and leading complex projects that address real customer challenges.

You will create Proofs of Concept, drive delivery excellence, collaborate with business and IT leadership, provide RCA, and mentor junior engineers to lift team capabilities.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud technologies.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation experience.
• 3+ years in an Agile development environment.
• 2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement efficient, scalable software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Contribute to solution design and collaborate with architects and senior engineers.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, optimize performance, and ensure scalability of the overall solution.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality features and mentor junior developers.
