Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design modern infrastructure platforms, automation tools, and backend services for large-scale cloud environments. This hands-on role requires cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable solutions using cloud-native tech.

You will work with Go, Python, Java, C++, or Rust, in Linux, leveraging Kubernetes and IaC tools to drive automation, testing, and CI/CD across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend apps in Go, Python, Java, C++, or Rust.
• Hands-on Linux environments experience.
• Kubernetes or other container orchestration experience.
• Solid cloud infrastructure and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience building APIs, automation platforms, or infrastructure services; testing, VCS, CI/CD.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Pay: $170,000–$220,000 base salary, plus performance bonus

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience building APIs, automation platforms, or infrastructure services.Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Additional Details

Preferred experience includes:

• Network automation or infrastructure engineering
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Data center networking concepts
• TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing, or network security
