Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team building Claude Security. You will ship user-facing and backend features, spanning from prototypes to production, working across the full stack.

You’ll collaborate with researchers, product managers, and go-to-market teams to shape the roadmap, own significant pieces of work, and balance ambitious security capabilities with practical product delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Python, and Go with experience building distributed systems.
• Strong generalist with ability to engage with research and product teams.
• Security experience is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship user-facing and/or backend features for Claude Security.
• Build the agent loops, tool integrations, and enabling infrastructure for cybersecurity products.
• Collaborate tightly with product managers and go-to-market to understand user needs and shape feature scope.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing, improving the experience continuously.
• Collaborate with research teams to identify and develop new model capabilities for security applications.
