Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Salt Lake City to drive architectural decisions and build scalable applications. You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and push for maintainable, replaceable microservices within an Agile environment.

You will evaluate new technologies, contribute to the technical vision, and collaborate with product owners to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise architecture guidance and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Implement architectural designs and develop applications in an Agile environment.
• Mentor teammates and lead code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Preserve and automate deployment via CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Collaborate with product owners to align technical direction with business goals.
