NinjaOne is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape the technical direction of the Unified IT Operations Platform. You will own large-scale initiatives, drive architecture decisions, and mentor engineers across multiple product teams.

You'll work with Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang, and Postgres in a scalable AWS environment, delivering high-availability services that support millions of endpoints globally. This role offers hybrid remote work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Java software development for product applications.
• 5+ years designing and operating highly scalable systems.
• Proven experience solving complex system design challenges at scale.
• Expertise in API design and RESTful services, with Spring (Spring Boot) or Jersey.
• Strong command of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Proficient in relational database design and development.
• 2+ years of Kotlin experience is a plus.
• Experience with Redis is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or equivalent work experience.
