Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced software engineer to drive quality across the full software development lifecycle. You will design and build high-quality, scalable features, focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability within the AI Search/UX team on the ServiceNow cloud platform.

You will work with a talented team of engineers delivering next-generation cognitive search and ML-driven relevancy to Fortune 500 customers, utilizing Java, Python, and modern front-end frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar OO languages.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, TestNG) and CI/CD integration.
• Understanding of software quality, reliability, observability, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality and development excellence across the software development lifecycle.
• Build high-quality, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Design and implement new products and features while enhancing existing ones.
• Create and maintain analytics dashboards and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and QA to define acceptance criteria and test plans.
• Contribute to test automation and ensure comprehensive coverage using Java-based tools.
