Job summary

Extreme Networks, Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of core networking platforms and services. You will work on real-time distributed systems, processing large volumes of data and powering AI experiences across the Extreme portfolio.

The role requires building scalable, secure, observable software with a focus on reliability and enterprise readiness, reporting to the Director of SW SystemsEngineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years across the full software development lifecycle.
• 8+ years programming in a general-purpose language (Python/Java/Go/C++).
• 5+ years leading design/architecture of large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms.
