Job summary

Extreme Networks in Seattle or the Bay Area is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape scalable core platforms and AI-enabled networking solutions in cloud-native environments.

You will design and implement distributed services for real-time data processing, mentor engineers, and drive the lifecycle from architecture to production, ensuring reliability, security, and observability across mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience across the complete software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, reviews, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable core platforms and services for networking and AI-enabled features.
• Process real-time network data and power AI experiences across Extreme.
• Lead architecture discussions for large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
