Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Marketing Agents on the Web Engineering team to own architecture and delivery of agent-based workflows for publishing the web content. You will set engineering standards, ensure robust agent outputs, and build scalable, observable systems for self-serve marketing content creation across blogs, landing pages, microsites, and social channels.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience and production ownership
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered systems in production
• Strong understanding of human-in-the-loop design and guardrails
• Experience collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders to translate workflows

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and delivery of agentic workflows across web content (blogs, landing pages, microsites, social)
• Define quality criteria, eval suites, and regression tests for agent outputs
• Implement review UI, audit logging, and notification systems for publishing pipelines
• Mentor and grow senior engineers, set standards for production-grade agentic engineering
