Job summary

Databricks in Mountain View is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Marketing Agents on the Web Engineering team to own architecture and delivery of agentic workflows for marketing content across blogs, landing pages, and social.

You will define how LLM-powered agents participate in production, set engineering standards, and ensure output is robust, observable, and production-ready at scale. You will mentor the Senior Engineer and collaborate with CMS and web platform teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with production ownership.
• Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered systems in production.
• Strong HITL system design including approval workflows, audit logging, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and delivery of agentic workflows enabling marketing self-serve content creation and publishing across blogs, landing pages, microsites, and social.
• Partner with CMS architecture to ensure content models support agent read/write workflows for AI-driven discovery at scale.
• Build an agent reliability system with eval suites, regression testing, and feedback loops based on marketer approvals and edits.
• Architect human-in-the-loop review as a system property across the publishing pipeline with approvals, diffs, notifications, and audit logging.
• Encode brand, legal, and compliance guardrails within agent workflows to minimize human intervention per decision.
