You will work closely with scientists, engineers, and product teams to convert complex research ideas into reliable software that supports rapid experimentation and production deployment.

You will drive technical direction, mentor teams, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure robust, scalable solutions that advance Anthropic’s mission.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated impact.
• At least 2+ years in staff or equivalent technical leadership.
• Experience turning research requirements into shipped software products.

Responsibilities

• Ship fast against a roadmap you help shape; this is a new category with high leverage problems.
• Interface directly with researchers and product teams to translate needs into engineering priorities.
• Partner with product and design to turn scientific workflows into shipped software.
• Collaborate with research to improve model capabilities and evaluation frameworks.
