Job summary

Pivotal Health is seeking an experienced software engineer to help build and evolve its AI-driven IDR platform. You will join a collaborative team that moves quickly from customer calls to prototype to production, influencing product direction and scaling solutions across the organization.

You will work across backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and React front ends, using Python and modern tooling to deliver impactful features.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of production software experience, including startup or new-product teams.
• Strong backend focus with Python and PostgreSQL or similar.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript to deliver end-to-end features.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer feedback into prototypes and experiments, often within a week or two.
• Build backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and AI-driven workflows, plus React front ends.
• Design experiments with the pod, instrument results, and interpret outcomes honestly.
• Set technical direction for new products and scale prototypes into production.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development and help the team adopt it.
