Open to remote US-based work with occasional travel to Brookfield, WI as needed. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, robust CI/CD, and secure, maintainable codebases.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js preferred.
• Experience building backend services with Django and REST.
• Cloud development with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Terraform.
• Understanding of Agile practices.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance software solutions addressing business challenges.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and planning of features and system capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, actuaries, and SMEs.
• Integrate data science, AI outputs, and model-driven insights into production workflows.
• Build and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Manage workload with focus on priorities and deadlines.
• Support deployment pipelines and release processes.
• Ensure secure software development practices for sensitive data.
