Job summary

Milliman IntelliScript seeks a Software Engineer III to design and deliver Life Sciences data solutions in a fast-paced, AI-assisted environment. You will help shape early product direction for Contxt, focusing on EHR data, FHIR/HL7 interfaces, and clinically oriented data integration.

The role emphasizes building scalable SaaS solutions, mentoring peers, and ensuring code quality while leveraging generative AI across planning, implementation, testing, and code review. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C# (.NET 8), React and SQL.
• DevOps with GitHub and Terraform.
• Familiar with Agile delivery (Scrum).
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong design, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with domain-driven design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience writing testable code with unit/integration tests.
• Passion for AWS best practices and high-quality systems.
• AI-assisted development tools experience and responsible prompting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and improve software and related solutions.
• Play a key role in redesigning legacy products in AWS.
• Mentor team members on engineering best practices.
• Focus on overall product quality and testability.
