Job summary

Milliman IntelliScript seeks a Software Engineer III to design and deliver innovative technology for Life Sciences, including EHR data, FHIR/HL7, and medical claims integration. You’ll work on Contxt, apply AI-assisted delivery, and help scale early-stage products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll shape product direction, ensure quality, and contribute to code that drives efficiency, compliance, and client value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C# (.NET 8), React, and SQL.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS.
• Understanding of DevOps best practices using GitHub and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, such as Scrum.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience with domain-driven design, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience writing testable code and automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and improve software and other technical solutions.
• Redesign monolithic legacy products in AWS.
• Champion AWS best practices.
• Mentor team members on software engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and deployments.
• Write AI prompts and ensure traceability from requirements to code and tests.
