Job summary

Datasite is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to shape the foundational infrastructure for enterprise AI agents. You will lead architecture for the custom agent harness, memory systems, and secure execution at production scale, influencing product, ML, and security teams.

You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Product, ML, and Security to deliver dependable agent experiences for dealmakers with a strong emphasis on distributed systems, security, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python experience and backend expertise.
• Production LLM applications involving tool calling, multi-step workflows, or context management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and evolution of the agent harness and orchestration.
• Design layered agent memory and secure execution environments.
• Build isolated, containerized execution environments for code and tools.
• Develop resilient orchestration with retries, checkpoints, and failure recovery.
• Create secure tool integrations with robust authentication and least-privilege access.
• Establish monitoring, tracing, and cost metrics to drive improvements.
