Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a leading Healthcare technology team. You will help shape the technical direction for member- and care team-facing digital experiences that support healthcare delivery, partnering with product and clinical stakeholders to translate vision into practical, shippable solutions.

With over 10 years of coding experience, you will guide architecture across the stack, set quality and security standards, mentor engineers, and drive 6–12 month technical

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code.
• Strong in at least one modern backend language, with flexibility across the stack.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proven experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and secure APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and deployment tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will help shape the technical direction for member- and care team-facing digital experiences that support healthcare delivery. You will partner closely with product and clinical stakeholders to translate vision into practical, shippable solutions. The position calls for strong engineering judgment, the ability to guide architecture across the stack, and a steady focus on quality, scalability, and security.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $202,400 – $253,000 annually
