Job summary

Intuitive currently seeks a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands-on execution across cloud infrastructure, backend services and data platforms. The role balances architectural judgment with practical implementation, serving as a senior individual contributor.

The candidate will steer design reviews, establish standards for CI/CD and observability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, backend services and APIs, and data platforms.
• Contribute hands-on design and implementation to high-priority projects across software domains.
• Design and develop engineering patterns for APIs, service boundaries, data contracts, deployment models, observability, and reliability.
• Lead architecture and design reviews for cross-team initiatives and align with platform standards.
• Establish and reinforce standards for infrastructure as code, CI/CD, automated testing, versioning, and health of services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, product, quality, and security to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor engineers across teams to raise design and implementation quality.
