Commure is building AI-native software to transform healthcare billing workflows. Staff Software Product Engineer leads the rebuild of biller surfaces, shaping frontend and backend architecture and standards across multiple teams.

You'll drive data-dense UI performance, bulk operations, and AI-embedded features, while mentoring engineers and ensuring reliability at scale in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building large-scale, full-stack applications and leading multiple teams.
• Orchestrated frontend-wide design systems and standards across a large org.
• Strong API and data-layer design for filtering, grouping, and pagination.
• Track record leading multi-month multi-team initiatives and migrations.
• Ownership mindset with bias for action in unstructured environments.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript/React, Python, and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the biller-workflow platform across frontend and backend.
• Establish patterns and contracts for teams to follow to stay consistent.
• Lead cross-cutting projects: large data tables, bulk operations, and timelines.
• Embed AI where it removes friction and improves workflows.
• Ensure reliability and performance in production across surfaces.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar across teams.
