Job summary

OneTrust in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead technical direction for Developer Experience. You will shape architecture, build internal platforms, and enable engineers to deliver software with quality and speed.

You will mentor engineers, promote responsible AI, and connect tools across source control, CI/CD, observability, identity, and cloud. The role requires 8+ years of experience and a track record of leading multi-team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record leading technical initiatives across multiple engineers or systems.
• Deep expertise in frontend or backend technologies, or both, supporting OneTrust’s platform.
• Experience with cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Devin, Windsurf) in a professional setting.
• Interest in applying AI to accelerate software delivery responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture for major Developer Experience capabilities.
• Build and improve internal developer platforms, service catalogs, scorecards, self-service workflows, and integrations.
• Connect developer tools to source control, CI/CD, observability, identity, cloud, and work-management systems.
• Build and maintain practical AI tools, reusable skills, workflow integrations, and evaluation harnesses.
• Shape solutions with engineering teams and Architecture before implementation starts.
• Mentor Senior and mid-level engineers.
