CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, designing dashboards, microservices, and integrations with third‑party systems.

You will mentor teams, champion DevOps, and drive AI‑driven features to automate workflows while focusing on Payer operations and performance measurement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on full‑stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Deep expertise in server‑side languages and scalable microservices.
• Hands‑on experience with integrating AI models and APIs.
• Experience with public cloud, CI/CD, containerization, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, architecture, and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect and implement dashboards and data visualizations.
• Design secure APIs and data integration layers with diverse data sources.
• Champion AI integration into core products and automate workflows.
• Drive DevOps, cloud infra, CI/CD, containers, and IaC.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and performance profiling standards.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers and shape tech roadmap.
• Navigate ambiguity and translate stakeholder questions into solutions.
