Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Enterprise Security Architecture, to lead and shape our security architecture across enterprise domains. The role focuses on defining secure reference architectures, standards, and implementation guidance across endpoints, networks, infrastructure, and data protection.

You will collaborate with GRC, Cloud Security, IT, and IAM to align security capabilities with business needs and strategic initiatives, including AI security and automation efforts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Security Engineering, or related leadership roles.
• 5+ years designing enterprise security architectures across endpoints, networks, infrastructure, vulnerability management, resilience, and platforms.
• Strong familiarity with Zero Trust, security frameworks, and modern security design patterns.
• Ability to translate governance, compliance, and business needs into actionable architecture and implementation guidance.
• Experience representing security in architecture review boards and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion Aurora’s enterprise security architecture strategy, roadmap, and target-state operating model.
• Develop reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for endpoint, network, infrastructure, and data protection.
• Translate governance requirements into scalable architecture guidance for enterprise security.
• Partner with GRC and other teams to operationalize policies and controls.
• Support Enterprise Architecture Committee by representing security priorities and standards.
• Architect secure solutions for workforce platforms, internal systems, and backend ecosystems using Zero Trust principles.
• Guide security design for PKI, vulnerability management, data security, and security tooling modernization.
• Provide architectural oversight for major initiatives to ensure scalability and governance alignment.
• Shape long-term security capabilities including AI security, automation, and resilience.
