Aurora is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to shape enterprise security architecture across endpoints, networks, and infrastructure. You will define reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps, partnering with GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, and IT to operationalize policies and ensure risk-managed design.

The role requires deep Zero Trust expertise and strong leadership across cross‑functional teams. We offer a hybrid work model with in-office days in multiple locations, equity and a bonus

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Information Security or related leadership roles.
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale security architectures.
• Experience translating governance into actionable architecture guidance.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust and modern security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise security architecture strategy, roadmap, and target state.
• Develop reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for security domains.
• Translate strategy into scalable implementation guidance across teams.
• Collaborate with GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, and IT to align capabilities.
