Job summary

Aurora seeks a Staff Security Engineer, Enterprise Security Architecture to lead secure, scalable enterprise architecting and drive Zero Trust adoption across security domains.

You will partner with GRC, Cloud Security, IT, IAM, and product security teams, shaping architecture with clear narratives and actionable roadmaps. This role supports a hybrid work model and location flexibility within key offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Security Engineering, or related technical leadership capacities.
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale security architectures across endpoint, network, infrastructure, resilience, and enterprise platforms.
• Proven success in developing enterprise security architecture strategies, reference architectures, and scalable technical standards.
• Extensive depth in Zero Trust, enterprise security frameworks, and modern security architecture design patterns.
• Knowledge of core enterprise security domains including endpoint, network, PKI, vulnerability management, data protection, and governance integration.
• Ability to translate governance, compliance, and strategic business requirements into actionable technical architecture and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion Aurora’s enterprise security architecture strategy, roadmap, and target-state operating model across domains.
• Develop enterprise security reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for multiple security domains.
• Translate strategy and governance requirements into scalable architecture and implementation guidance.
• Partner with GRC to operationalize policies and controls into practical enterprise security architectures.
• Support and influence the Enterprise Architecture Committee by representing security priorities and standards.
• Participate in architecture review boards and design committees to ensure alignment across initiatives.
• Architect secure solutions for workforce platforms and internal infrastructure using Zero Trust principles.
• Guide security design for PKI, vulnerability management, data security, and tooling modernization.
• Provide architectural oversight for major initiatives, ensuring scalability and governance alignment.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering, Cloud Security, IT, IAM, and product security to align capabilities.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to streamline investments and enhance resilience.
• Shape long-term strategy for security capabilities including AI security and automation.
• Maintain enterprise security design documentation, diagrams, and governance artifacts.
• Advise leadership on architecture, maturity, and strategic investments.
