Job summary
Pivotal seeks a Scrum Master to lead embedded software and firmware delivery for its next-generation eVTOL aircraft. You will partner with firmware, software, systems, hardware, DevOps, and verification teams to set priorities, manage cadence, remove blockers, and drive work from definition through verification.
You will operate in a fast-paced aerospace environment, coordinating across low-level software, device drivers, bootloaders, and aircraft integration, while maintaining team visibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years supporting software/firmware teams in aerospace, automotive, robotics, or similar complex hardware/software environments.
- 3+ years as a Scrum Master or execution-focused role.
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile/Scrum execution for embedded software, firmware, DevOps, and software verification teams.
- Partner with engineering leads and product owners to maintain a prioritized, actionable backlog.
- Drive work to closure by identifying blockers and ensuring due dates are met.
- Maintain development plans and execution status across Jira, GitLab, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
- Coordinate development activities across embedded firmware, drivers, HW interfaces, and DevOps.
