Job summary

Pivotal is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Palo Alto to lead cross-functional programs for eVTOL development, including design updates, testing, release, and product launches. You will drive schedules, budgets, and risk management in an agile or traditional framework while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams.

You should bring 5+ years of engineering design or test experience, 3+ years in project leadership, and strong Jira/MS Project skills.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in engineering design or test of complex electro-mechanical systems.
3+ years of project leadership experience in the same or related industries.
PMI certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Strong knowledge of Jira and MS Project and their use/applicability.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage projects using Jira / MS Project or similar tools, covering design updates, test and release, product launch.
Conduct regular reviews with task owners and leadership to keep activities on track and address scope or schedule slips.
Champion project management fundamentals and mentor others to take ownership.
Maintain a safety-focused approach while delivering aviation milestones and ensuring reliability of human flight.
