Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Staff Scientist in Boulder, CO to lead new NGS assay product development and provide on-market product support. The role reports to the Associate Director of R&D and sits within the Assay Development team, with an on-site requirement.

You will design and conduct experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings to internal and external partners, leveraging wet-lab and dry-lab expertise to advance genomics across

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in a life sciences field and 8+ years experience with NGS product development; Ph.D. with 5+ years also acceptable.
• Experience in wet-lab preparation of nucleic acids for NGS and dry-lab programming for NGS data analysis.
• Foundational knowledge of human genetics, cancer biology, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products using a combination of wet-lab and dry-lab skillsets.
• Provide on-market NGS product support as a subject matter expert.
• Present experimental demonstrations of products at scientific conferences.
