Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Staff Scientist to advance nucleic acid science, design experiments, analyze data, and communicate results across internal and external groups. This on-site role reports to the Principal Scientist R&D in the Genomic Analysis team.

The role emphasizes leading NGS product development, library prep expertise, and collaboration with multiple departments to drive genomics breakthroughs. Salary range discussed in posting.

Qualifications

M.Sc. in life sciences with 8+ years in NGS product development, or Ph.D. with 5+ years.
Extensive knowledge of lab techniques across molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry.
Expertise in NGS library prep chemistry for RNASeq, methylation and target enrichment.
Experience leading complex, multi-member projects and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

Develop new products combining wet-lab and dry-lab skills.
Support NGS product lines as a subject matter expert.
Present experimental demonstrations at scientific conferences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and marketing.
