Job summary

The Trade Desk, a global advertising technology leader, seeks a Staff Engineer to own the Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud stack. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable solutions with cross-functional teams to improve customer support efficiency and self-service experiences.

Lead Apex/LWC components, integrate RESTful APIs, and guide junior engineers while upholding security, governance, and CI/CD best practices in a high-scale environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years as a Salesforce Engineer focused on Service Cloud/Experience Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Flows.
• Experience with Service Cloud features: Case Management, Omni-Channel, Entitlements & SLA, Knowledge, Service Console config.
• Experience building Experience Cloud sites (templates, Experience Builder, self-service portals).
• Proven track record shipping production-grade code at scale.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with RESTful APIs and internal services.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and end-to-end development within Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Architect and implement scalable Apex components, LWC, and design patterns.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms (knowledge bases, ticketing, case routing).
• Drive automation across case lifecycle, Omni-Channel routing, entitlements/SLAs, and escalation processes.
• Design, build, and maintain Experience Cloud sites including portals and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with Product and Support to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Review and enforce security, sharing models, governor limits, and test coverage.
• Lead technical projects across sprints, mentore junior/mid engineers.
• Maintain high code quality via peer reviews and CI/CD processes.
