Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires GA RN licensure and BLS certification, with a BSN preferred and potential for additional life-support credentials.

Experience in nursing and knowledge of the Georgia Nurse Practice Act are important, with work hours from 7am to 3:30pm in this capacity.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials or clinical specialty certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adhere to Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice and institutional policies.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
