Job summary

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art healthcare system recruiting a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines. The RN must be GA-licensed, BLS certified, and ideally hold a BSN with 2+ years of RN experience.

Night shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with unit-specific certifications encouraged. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and commitment to

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials or clinical specialty certifications may be required in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
