Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide nursing care to patients according to physician orders and guidelines. You will work within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, ensuring safe, evidence-based care.

GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS are required; BSN and additional life-support certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) are preferred, with color vision and clinical acumen vital for unit-specific roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other unit-specific certifications are preferred.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients.
• Follows physician orders and established guidelines, within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
