Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines, within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements include being a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holding an active Georgia RN license in good standing, and BLS certification. BSN and 2 years RN experience are preferred, with additional life-support credentials encouraged for unit-specific roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be required in specific units.
