Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital guidelines.

The selected candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adapt to rotating day shifts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Must maintain GA RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care according to physician orders and guidelines.
• Adhere to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.
• Work hours: 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7am-7:30pm
