Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia in good standing, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification; BSN and additional life support credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Complies with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities, License Or Certification Required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Knowledge Skills And Abilities/License Or Certification Preferred

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
