Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and deliver professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act guidelines. You will care for an assigned group of patients and collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality service.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, 2 years of RN experience, BLS, and CDCES or eligibility within 2 years. Preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• CDCES or within two years of hire date.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients.
• Reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
• Work hours are 8AM - 5PM with weekend rotating requirements.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or within two (2) years of hire date.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• One (1) year experience in Diabetes Care/Education
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)

Work Hours:

8AM - 5PM
