Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in our Atlanta units. You will plan and deliver nursing care per physician orders, with adherence to established guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team; ensuring patient safety; and maintaining accurate documentation. Work hours are 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with no weekend, no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• ACLs/PALS/NRP or other certifications in specific units may be beneficial.
• Color vision may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adhere to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies; collaborate with care team.
• Maintain patient safety, documentation, and ongoing assessment of patient condition.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
