Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in Atlanta to join our care teams. You will provide professional nursing care per physician orders, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to achieve outcomes.

The position requires GA RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and a willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed. Weekend rotation and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree preferred with 2 years RN experience or other certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adheres to Georgia Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
• Supports on-call coverage and weekend rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7AM-5:30PM
