Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Georgia, is in good standing, and has a current BLS certification. A BSN and ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials are preferred, as are two years of RN experience and any additional life-support certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Additional life-support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications preferred.
• Color vision acuity may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
