Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Georgia RN license in good standing, and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; preferred BSN, 2 years RN experience,

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• The RN independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Care is delivered in accordance with the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
