Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Staff Electrical Module/Packaging Design Engineer to develop RF/microwave module packaging.

You will design single or multi-chip modules integrating GaN, GaAs or Silicon MMICs and mentor teammates as needed. You will work with marketing, program management, mechanical and test teams to push innovative packaging concepts, perform DVT, and support product lifecycles from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating microwave/millimeter-wave MMIC dies into FEMs.
• Expert in 3D EM simulators and RF design tools.
• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and impedance matching.
• Hands-on microwave measurements and calibration methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF/mm-wave MCM product development.
• Integrate MMICs into air cavity or over molded modules.
• 3D/2.5D packaging design using EM tools.
• DVT testing and results presentation.
• Lifecycle support from concept to production.
