Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior RF Module Design/Development Engineer to join the RF Microelectronics/Module Development & Foundry Services group in the United States. The role focuses on designing power combining structures and transitions for RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based MMICs for production and next-generation products.

You will perform 3D electromagnetic simulations, troubleshoot modules, and collaborate across RF module design, MMIC design and assembly teams to enable robust,

Qualifications

• BS degree in a STEM field and 5+ years in Microwave/RF module analysis, design, and test.
• Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, CST).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design RF structures and transitions on multi-layer RF modules.
• Perform 3D EM simulations of power combining and RF structures.
• Troubleshoot prototyped and developing RF modules.
• Collaborate with RF module, MMIC design, and assembly teams.
