Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced RF/Microwave engineer to design and develop state‑of‑the‑art bulk acoustic wave (BAW) devices for Defense, Aerospace, Satcom and Wireless infrastructure. You will define products, run simulations, and drive manufacturability from concept through test characterization.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering or Physics with RF focus preferred; or BE/BS with 3–5+ years design experience.
• Experience with schematic design, RF/EM simulation, and layout preferred.
• 3+ years direct acoustic design experience (BAW/SAW) preferred.
• Knowledge of RF design tools (AWR-Microwave Office, HFSS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design BAW devices using ladder filters, CRF, and hybrid filters.
• Perform RF/EM simulations using internal and external tools.
• Layout devices and generate photomask sets.
• Characterize devices with RF/Microwave test equipment.
• Collaborate with RF team on integrated module designs.
• Improve design flow, cycle time, and schedule.
