Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a high-impact RF/BAW design engineer to advance state-of-the-art bulk acoustic wave devices for defense, aerospace, and wireless infrastructure.

You will design BAW devices, perform RF/EM simulations, layout photomask sets, and characterize devices with advanced RF test equipment while collaborating across a global team to improve design flows and schedules. Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in EE/Physics with RF focus or 3–5+ years design experience.
• Experience with schematic design, RF/EM simulation, and layout preferred.
• 3+ years direct acoustic design experience (BAW or SAW) preferred.
• Knowledge of AWR Microwave Office and HFSS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design BAW devices using ladder filters, CRF, and hybrid filters.
• Perform RF/EM simulations with internal tools and standard packages.
• Layout devices and generate photomask sets.
• Characterize devices with RF/microwave test equipment.
• Collaborate in a team to contribute RF skills to module designs.
• Improve design flow, cycle time, and schedule.
