Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks a Staff Resource Development Engineer to optimize resource development in the Permian Basin. You will lead decline curve analyses, design well spacing and development plans, and evaluate acquisitions to maximize economic value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field
  • Eight+ years of related experience in resource development or E&P engineering
  • Pre-employment background and drug test acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Conducts decline curve analysis to generate production forecasts for budgeting and planning.
  • Designs and optimizes well spacing, completions strategies, and field development plans.
  • Evaluates potential acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Develops type curves and performs economic analyses for AOIs.
  • Progresses asset development approvals from concept to executive approval.
  • Collaborates with Well Performance team to integrate reservoir simulations and diagnostic tools.

## Staff Resource Development Engineer - Permian BasinApplyremote type: Onsitelocations: Oklahoma City, OKtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R02527**Job Summary**The Resource Development Engineer collaborates with all other disciplines (e.g., geologists, landmen, and production engineers) to optimize resource development on Continental’s Permian Basin assets. This role involves performance analysis, strategic planning, A&D evaluation, and reservoir characterization to maximize economic value and recovery.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Conducts decline curve analysis to generate short and long-term production forecasts to support budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.* Designs and optimizes well spacing, completions strategies, and field development plans to enhance recovery, maximize economics, and minimize costs.* Evaluates and makes recommendations on potential acquisitions and divestitures.* Develops and maintains type curves and economic analyses for various AOIs.* Progresses well approvals from concept through executive approval.
