The role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) with preferred Bachelor’s degree in Math, Business, or related Science and familiarity with oil and gas

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Pre-employment background and drug test required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Business, or related Science preferred.
  • Knowledge of drilling, completion, production helpful.
  • Experience with oil and gas governmental regulations beneficial.
  • Familiarity with DSO or WellDrive or similar tracking programs.
  • Prolonged sitting and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and enters data online or on paper for drilling permits, renewals, sundry notices, and regulatory documents.
  • Tracks, gathers, and organizes information for regulatory filings to meet deadlines.
  • Works with field personnel on state and federal compliance requirements.
  • Updates databases and tracking systems (DSO, Excel, OneNote).
  • Reviews documents for accuracy and uploads scans into WellDrive.
  • Researches regulatory requirements and stays current.
  • Provides support to regulatory staff and regular updates to supervisors.
