The Staff Software Engineer, Release, leads architecture for the Integrated Continuous Release pipeline across Cloud and Robot environments, delivering high-quality, verifiable software with end-to-end automation. You’ll own frameworks and infrastructure used by engineers, ensuring safe, reliable releases and strong testing coverage.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of automated verification at scale.
• Proven DevOps, CI/CD with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Frontend and Backend architectures experience at scale.
• Hands-on HITL and SITL automation in production release.
• Experience building automated regression/unit/integration tests.
• Python proficiency for automation and tooling.
• Containerization and Terraform expertise.

Responsibilities

• Build robust automated systems for development, verification and deployment.
• Own reference environments where Lattice workflows are validated before release.
• Define full-stack test environments including HITL hardware integration.
• Design interfaces and features for end-to-end testing across complex systems.
• Drive CI/CD with performance baselines and reliability practices.
• Define AI-enabled automation to catch issues early in development.
