Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Release, to own the Integrated Continuous Release pipeline across Cloud and Robot environments. You will implement end-to-end test environments, HITL/SITL, and enforce contract-verification models to ensure safe, reliable deployments.

You will lead architecture decisions for automated release frameworks, drive CI/CD integrations, and advance automatic testing to scale with defense-grade systems while protecting developer experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of proven experience building automated verification suites at scale.
• Proficient at DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline development, SRE, automated testing frameworks, scripting for automation, and SDLC understanding.
• Deep experience with frontend and backend services and architectures, and proven experience at scale.
• Hands-on experience automating HITL and SITL engineering in production release processes.
• Expertise in developing automated tests (regression, unit, integration).
• Proficiency in Python for automation and system development.
• Professional experience with containerization workflows and Terraform.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

Responsibilities

• Build and implement robust automated systems for development, verification, and deployment with high quality and performance.
• Develop and own the reference environment that Lattice workflows are verified in ahead of release.
• Define and maintain comprehensive full stack test environments, including HITL systems.
• Design and implement critical software interfaces and product features for end-to-end testing across complex systems.
• Drive CI/CD integration of performance testing and enforce reliability engineering best practices.
• Define and implement AI-enabled automation to find and fix issues early without impacting developer experience
