CVS Health Corporation seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the design and delivery of provider-facing scalable software solutions, driving cross‑team execution and engineering excellence across critical initiatives.

This position is ideal for a senior engineer who can operate independently, influence across teams, and translate business requirements into robust cloud-native architectures, microservices, and secure, highly available systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale, full-stack applications.
• Experience in healthcare, preferably provider-focused initiatives.
• Strong background in backend Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Node.js, and frontend React/Angular/TypeScript.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL and microservices architectures.
• Proven ability to design scalable distributed systems and cloud-native services.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices with Jenkins and IaC.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
