Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Clearfield, UT / Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Staff Process Engineer – Level 5 to join our team. The role partners with design engineering and production to resolve manufacturing issues, improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency, and implement corrective actions. 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

The ideal candidate will analyze production data, maintain MBOM, and present technical solutions to leadership and review boards. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and business databases.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for products and processes.
• Coordinates with Design Engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
• Coordinates with production on day-to-day activities.
• Assists in the resolution of processing issues.
• Analyze processing data to highlight trends and implement corrective actions.
• Maintains manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).
• Preparing and presenting technical presentations to leadership, customers, and review boards.
• Supporting design, checkout, qualification, and implementation of new or modified tooling or equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
